Toilet facilities design is important as it is for Sandridge Beach. I am emailing a design which would suit both areas.

The amount of traffic on Williamstown road makes this reserve not much fun to use. Perhaps fixing the broader traffic problem would have a peace and calming effect. The traffic makes the site difficult to get to. The park is too small more land should be added over time. Perhaps make Williamstown one way at the reserve and force an alternative route around the park through the industrial area would help?

A swimming complex in the area would help, perhaps with the help of state government as there is little access this side of Port Phillip and no access at Docklands and much of the inner city. Tennis Courts would also help. I would suggest this needs to be on new land as the park is too small. I would like to see the park extended over Williamstown Rd, perhaps even needing to take over the houses facing the park on Williamstown Rd. Once a critical size is reached the park would have a true impact on the nature and feel of the neighborhood.

Take over houses in Williamstown Road, why we are at it why not take over the houses in Beacon Road and Crichton Ave that face Beacon Reserve and join the two parks together, I'm assuming that you are not a Williamstown Road resident, as you seem quick to volunteer our homes.

Pool an tennis court sound ok but buying houses and closing rouds would cost big dollars. Think about it. At an average of 1.2m each you would need about $50mill to buy all the houses along the length of the park. A bit far fetched don't you think?

We really need a perimeter running track with lighting. Park is the perfect size for this an all the sporting clubs could use this as well as just individuals looking to go for a jog. Half of it is already done along plumber street but west side connection to williamstown rd is terrible and dangerous without lighting

Yes, a Tennis Court facility would be fantastic,- we need some hardcourts in the area , also great for the kids to use when adults using the cricket etc. Tennis is a great sport for all groups ,male and female, young and old. Currently mostly a male dominated park.
Also agree with jogging track with lights surrounding so able to be used over extended period of time and also for safety.
Would be great to have a pedestrian crossing or lights. I once saw a very elderly man with a walking stick trying to run to avoid the speeding traffic there.
