Welcome to the City of Port Phillip's online consultation pages

'Have Your Say' provides a direct link into Council's decision-making processes and provides an easy way to contribute your ideas and opinions about key issues being considered by Council.

There are a variety of ways to participate: fill in surveys, send in submissions, contribute to on-line discussions, give feedback via email.

Greeves Street Streetscape Upgrade

As part of Council's ongoing streetscape improvement program, a streetscape renewal project for Greeves Street, St Kilda, is scheduled for construction by the end of 2012. A proposed concept design for the streetscape has now been developed and Council is keen to hear feedback from the community.

Emerald Hill Library & Heritage Centre Project

The City of Port Phillip plans to expand and refurbish the current Emerald Hill Library to become the Emerald Hill Library & Heritage Centre.

Being Safe During Storms, Floods and Heatwaves

Residents of the City of Port Phillip have experienced some harsh weather in recent years. Council has been working with the State Emergency Services and others to prepare an online information kit to help you prepare for severe weather. It guides you through some basic steps to prepare for severe weather and also suggests what you should do during and after a storm, flood or heatwave.

We're interested in your feedback on the online information kit as well as your observations and experiences of severe weather in Port Phillip. We'd also love to hear about any tips you can share that could help others respond.

Plum Garland Memorial Playground Design - update

Following onsite and online consultation in 2010-2011 a final plan has been developed for the Plum Garland Memorial Playground Design. The final plan is now available.

Eastern Reserve Playspace

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the Eastern Reserve Playspace in South Melbbourne. Feedback has now closed. The concept plans for the play space will be available for feedback soon. Please stay tuned for details of the second consultation stage in late February.

Emerald Hill draft master plan

The City of Port Phillip Council has developed a draft master plan for the Emerald Hill precinct of South Melbourne (around the town hall) and is keen to get your feedback. The master plan outlines a number of key actions that aim to revitalise the neighbourhood as the cultural and civic heart of South Melbourne.

South Melbourne Industrial Precinct Review

The City of Port Phillip is developing a plan to guide future land use directions of the South Melbourne Industrial Precinct.

The plan Council is developing will guide land use, the design of new buildings, public spaces, access and movement.

In May, Council undertook consultation with property owners and businesses in the precinct as well as adjoining residents. Thank you to everyone who participated. A summary of the feedback from consultation will be available shortly.
